Hood Lock ?

What kind of hood locks you people using ? , I had a Chain and lock but didn't work out to good . And I don't want anything hitting my raidator .

It would be pretty easy just to run a modern cable from under the dash to the latch and use that to open it. You could either remove the existing catch or set up a modern double catch set up. Ill eventually be doing it but its a ways off.

A couple of years ago (actually 9) Putter did a build thread complete with pictures on how to mod the external latch for the hood to accept an in-the-cab cable release.
