MAN MACHINE INTERFACE, INC.

ANNOUNCES ITS NEW AERO-RIVET-II

CLASSIC CORVETTE RIVET TOOL

Patent Pending – Made In USA

The ultimate solution to the rivet setting dilemma for 1953 through 1982 classic Corvettes. Through extensive testing we have developed our new AERO-RIVET-II Tool, a precision rivet tool for classic Corvettes.

Features:

Allows for the precise, factory equivalent setting of steel, aluminum and brass tubular and semi-tubular rivets used on classic Corvettes, such as those used on air vent doors, re-bound straps, window channels, vent windows, heater boxes and ignition shielding ground straps, without damaging the material being riveted.
Body and drive bolt design allow for close clearances of tool to work piece.
Enhanced tool functionality provides for setting rivets from either end of the tool and the ability to set small (3/16” dia. or less) solid aluminum rivets, such as those used on C2 rear valance panel nut plates.
CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and uses high-grade 4140 hardened steel components for greater durability and longer tool life.
Overall size is 4” x 3.5” with a 2” wide by 2.5” deep throat opening.
Supplied with three depth adjustable bases, one each for truss head and flat head rivets and one for setting small rivets; and four interchangeable drive bolt tips, one each for setting large and small rivets and one each for truss head and flat head rivets.
Current Pricing: $83.00.

Shipping Charges: $6.00 for continental U.S.

Method of Payment:

Check or Money Order.

Send to the address listed above, make sure to indicate ship to address and phone number. List E-mail address if you want us to notify you when we ship.

Looks bullet proof and versatile, more so than the CRL one purpose >$100 offering! Though the CRL offering has the ability to remove rivets as well.
Has anyone bought and used one of these? Can you buy it online?

Re: vent window rebuild

I got the one from TBone.

Pros: nice tool, works great for pivot rivet.
Cons: Bulky and hard to get into the tight spots.

Thanks. I've found a few different styles online and I'm just trying to figure out which one works the best and will last because I have several sets to do.
