Value on 71-72 12 bolt rearend

What is a 5 on 5 bolt pattern, 71-72 12 bolt 3.73, open rearend in good shape, complete from drum to drum worth? Thanks

They will become more $$ since 3:73 is the gear that works best with LS conversions and more are looking for them

Yeah, I've heard that the 3.73 is a good ratio for anyone running a 700R4.

I always see them running around $300 anything under $250 and it will go quick.

Wow, I guess I should have checked with you guys first. I thought they would be closer to $150-$200 out here. I haven't sold it yet, I had someone interested in it for $200. Well I know better now. Thanks.

Around here the wrecking yards sell for $300 and up. Private sellers, a little less.

We have had no problem getting $300. on the bolt in ready non-posi 71/72 12 bolt five lug trailing arm rear axles, doesn't really matter 3.07/3.73 usually have guys waiting inline before the axle is even pulled. Around here if you had a diff failure and went in to one of the many local axle repair shops, that $300. is not going to get ya very far. Mel

$200 is a good price but not unreasonably low.
