Re: 68 hood and fender question

The 67-68 hood will only work with matching fenders and core support. If you currently have a 69 hood and grill, you probably have the fenders as well. You will need to change all in order to achieve the 67-68 look or to convert to gmc. The best way is to replace the whole front clip at one time. I've seen them go for as little as $300.00. There is a lot of differences in equipment between them. If you want to put a 67-68 hood on a 69 front clip, your in for a lot of sheet metal work to make it fit. I believe it's been done somewhere here on the forum, so it's obviously not impossible. Try the search, I'm sure I saw it somewhere.
