Re: Rust repairs

I'm currently in the same process as you're getting ready to dive into. This has been my first time ever doing this, in depth, bodywork. Just take your time and measure everything out and take some before pictures for reference. I'm almost done with my passenger side and then I'll be jumping over to the driver's side. I guarantee you it's taken me twice as long as it should, but everything seems to be falling into place with minor modification. You don't have to do it this way, but I have just tacked everything in place, to make sure everything is fitting right, and then I'll go back and burn it all in. Just my suggestion! Have fun!

I'm also about to dive into repairing all the rust in my cab. Never done this kind of rust repair either. Did you brace your cab up? I've looked over a lot of the build threads on this forum and some brace their cabs and some don't.
