Need some help on set of bell tech spindles

The 67 I just picked up came with a complete front end rebuild kit- new upper lower ball joints, tie rods etc. also came with a set of bell tech spindles. Now to the problem, I bought inner and outer bearings and set of 5 lug rotors- re drilling them to 6 lug at work- bought a5 and a3 inner and outer bearings, the a5 s work without issue, the a3 are too small on the id. Is there a special bearing for these spindles? Also where can I get nuts and washers for spindles to hold bearings on?

Re: Need some help on set of bell tech spindles

Often times there may be a slight burr on the spindle tip, usually where the groove is flycut for the tanged washer. Hit this area with a flat file and generally inspect the entire spindle end for any type of burr. unless you're saying the i.d. is way off.

Iirc bell tech spindles are a 3" drop as opposed to 2.5" like most others. If you are going to run 15" wheels you may have clearance issues. I know this isn't your question but it is something that might come up.

Got the bearing issue fixed, going to run 20" wheels so should be good. Thank you for the replies.
