arm rest help

Was putting on the new door panels and arm rest and other stuff and ran into a problem....My truck didn't come with the arm rest, it has the holes for them but not the nut things that hold the bolt in place . was wondering if anyone new a good way to fix this?Thanks

the little clip that is the nut slides over a part of the inner door, it should be easy to rig it up. however, have fun putting the armrest on, lol, it took me like a 1/2 hr just to put the driver side one on because I couldnt get the screw to line up. grrr

they need a little clip that slides on and then has a threaded part on the backside and auto parts store should carry them in the help section.

It is kind of a clip that holds a square nut and clips to the door from the inside.

I'm sure that sears hardware has somethign that would work. If you've never looked, you'd be amazed at some of the little clips and things they have that you can use automotivly.

Plastic liscense tag nuts and screws will work. You may have to trim the nuts a little.

mine gets put off again hers is now first.andy that real shiny gauge cluster i got from you a while back guess where its at now and i want metion my ps setup went on hers last week oh well gives me a excuse to buy new tach cluster.

I ordered some with my arm rest from Chevy duty..a while back, I went in to auto zone the next day and BINGO BANGO....the same damn little plastic clips as the license plate holders!!!!!
