 So I go pull out all my old plates, and I'm smelling them. My wife sees me and asks the question: "What are you doing?" In the midst of my focused determination I blurt it out: "Smelling them to see if they smell like BO!". Now she thinks I'm more retarded than she already did!   For the record, none of my plates smell like BO...

Has anyone ever come up with an explanation of "why" some plates smell like B.O.? 8 have aset of Illinois plates from the year I was born (1971) and they smell horrible, even after multiple washings.
