Re: Boy its nice to have an understanding wife

The neighbor who lives about 50 feet from my shop and 1600 sq ft building can be a real *****. Ive learned to say yes dear your correct and just ignore my wife. No other neighbors for a 1/4 mile. I may be in for some trouble? the state has reciently added a small sign about 10 iches square to all the road signs. the sign reads SENIC. My lawyer son tells me to not be suprized if I get served papers!

Oh My Oh My that back yard looks better than Disneyland! We will have to call your place "The Hood of Winchester Bay" and I mean that literally because of all those beautiful hoods sitting all stacked up! WOW! If you ever part with one of those hoods let me know?

Re: Boy its nice to have an understanding wife

for some reason I can't comprehend the thread title. wonder fandom bike? splederstander strife? underweardon blight?

My wife enjoys throwing my stuff away sometimes at a greater frequency than I buy it. if there is ever anything rare expensive or sentimental missing, I dont have to ask, and if I do it is only to see the half smile of a guilty conscience. she says, and is right, that she throws away more than I ask about, and thats probably true, but the never get it back stuff that is gone is really worrisome.

its awesome your wife is understanding though. I am not permitted to bring any orphans home after the last fiasco.

Re: Boy its nice to have an understanding wife

Plain and simple.... Garage is mine (my tools, trucks, motorcycles and such) and the closet is hers (purses, 240 pair of shoes and all the dang clothes that she never wears). Worked a deal when we got married, if I buy new parts she gets a purse or shoes... For the life of me I am trying to figure out all thethings I bought for her to have that many pair of shoes and that many purses.... SMH

I cant complain. I bought the suburban and then found a 02 with a duramax AFTER I bought a 454 and her only question was "is the duramax what you want?" So now I have both. LOL

Re: Boy its nice to have an understanding wife

Ok, ok, I hate to admit it, but you have more stuff than me. More hoods anyway. I only have 3, but one of mine is a GMC! Hah!

My wife understands and calls it "collecting" instead of hoarding.

But I bet I have more T5 transmissions than you do! I am proud of you, and jealous of you all at the same time. It's great that you can rescue all of those nice parts.

I can't remember where I read it, but it's funny. Something like . . . "My worst fear is that I'll get sick and while I'm in the hospital my wife will sell my truck parts for the price I told her I paid for them."

Here's my trailer full of parts so my neighbors won't get mad. T5 collection too!

Re: Boy its nice to have an understanding wife

LT1 that's a very orderly collection of hoods there. The thing about neighbor's it don't matter where you go there's always someone who likes to mind your business. Kudos to anyone who has an understanding mate, it sure makes life a heck of allot easier as the world has enough problems to cope with...Vernski
