Thanks for all of your help on the board. I read allot of your post but don't reply allot. But I use the info to make some good decision. Thank you again. This is what I did to my gauge cluster, installed tack, repainted needles (testors orange), painted inside white to make it brighter at night, also painted housing a new simi gloss black(krylon), polished old plastic lens to make it look new, new bulbs and some elbow juice. And this is what I came out with.

question... im about to add that same tach. how did cut the plexiglass? nobody knows how at the stores...

That cluster looks sweet.I would like to do my dash out of brushed stainless steel and auto meter gauges.Any one who has done this or something similiar to this have any tips on doing this?Does anyone sell kits to do this?thanks.

I used a dremal high speed grinder with a carbite bit and take your time, or use a 3 3/4 hole saw with a center drill bit. That should work as well.

DINNUT YOU CAN ALSO USE A JIG SAW BUT THE HOLE WANT'S TO CLOSE UP BEHIND YOU... THE GUAGE CLUSTER LOOK SWEET, NICE WORK..

When you say you "polished the lens to make it look new" What did you use, and does it make the little scratches go away?? Mine is a little scratched, but I don't want to have to buy a new lense. Thanks! and nice gauge cluster! Good work!

Used Meguiers plastic polish, works real good. Just be careful when polishing back side of gauge cluster lens, because you might polish the numbers right off.
