WTB 1972 3.73 differential

Looking for a complete 1972 coil spring, 5 lug, 3.73 differential, preferably posi. Willing to drive a few miles for the right part. Any one in SoCal have one of these? Thanks, Lee

Re: WTB 1972 3.73 differential

I found an open 3.73 locally, $500 firm and it was a little worse for the wear. Seems these are far and few in between, at least in my neck of the woods.

I have decided to change the gears in my differential. I have a shop lined up to make the swap, new Eaton posi carrier, 3.73s, Timken bearing kit, check axles for wear and replace if needed, new axle bearings & seals.

Coming soon to a for sale, a 3.08 ring & pinion and Eaton posi with just under 5K miles.
