Reprodution front fenders

Getting ready to send the 56 cameo for paint. Body is pretty good but just thinking the repaired front fenders may be a mistake with all the time and effort we have put into this. Any suggestions on ones to use and supplier or horror stories on poor quality to stay away from? Not looking for best price, but good quality and service. What did you all use?

First off, I will do ANYTHING before I use repro parts, ANY repro parts and especially sheet metal.

I know nothing about any fenders for these trucks. I have seen a lot of other repro sheetmetal, ALL of it needs work. I have seen from "ok" to JUNK when it comes to repro sheetmetal. The one thing that holds true no matter how good some may be, you MUST trail fit it along with the hood and everything on your truck before you accept that it is ready for paint.

I ordered repo front fenders for my 56 from classic industries last week. As soon as they come in I will let you know what I think of the quality.

I am picking up my completed '57 panel today.
New hood and left fender from LMC. The shop had no complaints and I had them coat the inside of the fender(s) to protect it from gravel.
I have an original hood and fender I would sell.

I agree with you. I had some repop fenders and they were awful. I ended up using them for patch panels to fix my old fenders. Mine were counter parts I hear the dynacorn fenders are much better.

Thanks to all for your input, it is appreciated. I agree with not wanting to use the repops but my left front is mostly pieced together with patch panels so I may take the advice on the LMC fenders and just buy the left side and see how that goes. Thanks again.
