Re: setting up the edelbrock
Usually the vacuum ball is hooked to manifold vacuum or some rear Quadrajet port. Edelbrock carbs don't have vacuum ports in the rear so just find a constant vacuum source for the vacuum ball. Most engines seem to run better with the dist hooked up to full time vacuum too.
