Which cars have the flip down license plate
At some point in the future, I plan on putting a roll pan on the back of my truck. I also want to have a hidden hitch. That said, I was wondering which cars provided the flip down license plates. This information would likely help alot of people that are doing the underbed tanks as well.
I personally know of the '68-'69 chevelles. Which cars do you know of?

Full and intermediate GM cars up to the 80's had them. Like the Buick Limited [park ave] we had a 77 and a 78 that both had them. We also drove Pontiac's back in the early 70's and the Catalina best I can remember had the flip down plate as well. The Chevelles and all of their counterparts[IE:Skylark, LeMans, Cutlass,] I also know the first gen Camaro's did 67-69 also the Nova did as well. [Did you know in Spanish the word Nova means "no go" and that is why the car NEVER sold worth a darn down below the border. Well ,that and they started rusting in the floors at the factory.]Those there [and there are more I'm sure ] will get you going at any pull-a-part to look for something I think your best bet would be looking on the bigger cars first since they seem to be less popular and would be more abundant. My moms 77 caddy coupe deville had one..

2nd gen F-body cars (Camaro/Firebird) all have them, and are reproduced if you want new. The same flip down door fit a lot of GM stuff through the 60's-70's.

Not only did the 2nd gen camaro (70-81) have them, but so do the 3rd gen (82-92) camaros.

As others have stated, pretty much any GM car between 1968 and 1977. Many others too.
Quite comical driving my old Pontiacs to the full service gas pump. Young guys walk around the car a couple times before asking where the heck the filler is.
