New to me Cluster

I just want to say Thank You to 69Rumbler for the cluster assembly.
Got it installed over the weekend and took her out for a cruise.
I have to replace some HVAC hoses, I think I gave a couple hoses too much "love" trying to get them off. Here are some pics.

Re: New to me Cluster

Got a question about the hoses, they are all hard, brittle and do not flex. I remember seeing a thread about what company has the best hose kit for this application.

Thanks in advance,

Casey

And, No, I did not do the shiney gray duct tape job to the hoses, that is how I found them when I got everything apart. I also replaced the center A/C vent and center speaker.

Re: New to me Cluster

I used the hose kit from www.brotherstrucks.com new they are really pliable. I have always used Ac tape for mine connections. Or alluminim tape helps seal leaks. Duct tape isn't the best solution for that because of the gummy stuff left over.

Love your truck!

Mine are so hard and brittle I tore one in 4 different spots just trying to get it off, but I covered it with black duct tape to try to hide it for now....

Re: New to me Cluster

No problem! I had the same issue trying to track down a wiring issue in mine. So I purchased that kit and then one thing lead to another and I ended up restoring and rebuilding the whole interior cab lol. That escalated quickly.
