Re: stero
You can probably trade your dash for a cut dash. Plenty of people looking for an uncut dash.

Re: stero
Ive debated weather or not to cut it I just thought it would look slicker with an aftermarket... eventually im going to switch to a digital cluster so I thought I might as well go aftermarket with the stero.

Re: stero
The vintage stereo two post radio has a digital display. It also has Bluetooth and multiple connections for amps and other devices. There is really no need to cut your dash unless you just want to.

Cut it and be done. Taking a dash out of a truck isn't the simplest job. It will require a lot of work. Cut it and be done. Memory wire is yellow power Red and black is ground. It's your truck and if done right will look as good as any other mod done as long as it's done right.
I get a kick out of every post about not cutting the dash. Like it's some unholy thing, yet they lower them cut the frames off, put 24" wheels on them put new motors and transmissions in them change the seats add consoles to them but heaven forbid you cut the dash! ![]() ![]() Just cut it and be happy with your truck! ![]() ![]()

Re: stero
Kind of depends on if you may want to sell it down the road later. A cut dash will turn some people away, such as notched frames and bags will turn others away also. Then again, some other's might say... cool, now I don't have to do that, you've already done it. It isn't a big deal to cut the dash really, just take your time and it will look okay. Some prefer the clean, 'vintage' look, while other's like the custom look. To each their own. I agree, It is NOT an easy task to remove and replace the dash though.
