How to remove cab trim?

Okay, a friend is scraping a 1976 C10. The cab trim, the rear corner wrap and across the back is in good shape. It appears to be sucked up tight to the cab. I did not notice any screws holding it on.

How does one remove that trim? I want to save it.

What a waste it would be if it was sent to the crusher!

Re: How to remove cab trim?

The cab corner trim unbolts from the inside and the rear trim slides out.

That is good info! Does that apply to '85 also?

Actually the back part lifts up and then you pull the top away from the cab. Sliding the part accross the back of the cab can damage the paint.

If you plan to reinstall, plan on buying new clips (LMC). All are brittle with age. Yes this applies to 73-87
