Re: static drop pictures
245/60-15 rear
225/60-15 fronts 245s are 10" wide The rear fender opening is 12" I have an 1" clearance on each side. No tubs A 275/60 will be around +11" wide or more It would be tight |

Re: static drop pictures
I'm in the process of setting up my AD with new tires/rims. Going for 16s. I've test fit a 255/65 R16 on back. It's 10.2" and about as large as I want to go. Going with 235/70R16 on front (and spare). It would also work well on the back. Both sizes are the same height, so with a posi rear, I'm set. I have a long bed and 15s looked too small on it.

Re: static drop pictures
Yes you remember when I installed that clip. Its the same truck that had that awful clip installation that I fixed. Remember the thread I did on it? Its a link in my signature titled "Fixing a mess of a clip installation" Remember?
This is it after a fresh coat of paint Last edited by Kabwe; 03-27-2014 at 08:44 PM. |

Re: static drop pictures
Oh yeah, now I remember. It's THAT truck, ha ha. Love the paint too.
I entertained painting my truck Corvette yellow in the past and I DO love how it looks ...on other people's trucks. Is that the color on this truck? Is the owner still loving it?

Re: static drop pictures
wasn't the original question related to static drops of the original suspension? S10s, camaro front ends, M2, etc, etc, is like comparing apples and oranges. I have seen 'static' drops by only lowering the cab on the frame... no suspension changes at all. It is like talking rim offsets.
