Hood springs
I meet a man at show. He told me he bought new springs for his 65 truck. He said they were not as strong as his original ones. Who sells strong ones that will hold the hood up?

Re: Hood springs
My original springs are weak. They don't want to hold the hook up. I am afraid that if I leave the hood up at a show the hood may drop down, and someone may get hurt. I could leave the hood down, but someone may raise it up. I would like to buy original NOS springs.

Re: Hood springs
I would look for another original set and give them a try. Not sure NOS is going to be easy to find. The ones on both my 65 and 66 still work well.

Re: Hood springs
Bought a set from Truck and Auto in Cali. They were priced right and work great
