i have had friends who have had the surgery hes gonnabe sore for at least two or three more weeks before he can function . Once hes home fromt hospital the pain gets a little worse cause instead of hte drip ya have pills that take longer to work. right now hes alos getting used to eating hes prolly up to yougurt and powdered milk and has to rest alot as long as he stays away from infection he will be fine in a few weeks

I know the pain you have to deal with. I almost forgot how bad it was when I had my intestinal surgery. I have a pretty big scare about 8-9 inches from that. Every one of my stomach muscle where cut in half almost. Made a strait line from top of my stomach to a little past the bottom. Then they wanted me to breath in this tube so I wouldn't get a cold. Every time that happened I coughed and that was the real pain when the muscle tried to contract. I only got sent home with vicodan
