would be interested but your too far away for me to look at it and pick it up. look like a nice motor, what do you have in the way of a warranty for the motor work that has been done? was it done at a shop or did you do it? do you have receipts for the work? just asking because I have been burned before buying engines.

Johnson Machine Shop in Elizabethtown NC did all machine work and built motor. It's been built now for almost 1.5 years...just never got around to putting it in my truck. Head was rebuilt aslo. New cam, cam gears, lifters, water pump...030 pistons. Everything on the motor is new..inside and out. I even have a brand new flywheel that goes with it. I could also throw in a almost new clutch, throwout bearing and PP. I can pull the valve cover to show the new head work if need be...I'm not here to burn anybody...if that's what you insinuating. I wouldn't expect anybody to buy it without looking at it anyways.

No Sir was not insinuating anything, just stating that without me being able to see it first hand it would be hard to buy it. But it sounds like it would be a great motor, could you get a cost to ship it to 95363.

Curious, what is the date code? I have a 67 swb 4X4 that came with a 292 and I have a 68 292 bt was looking for a 67 or very late 66. Plus any brackets go with it? I see the 3 belt pulleys.

And if you want to PM, absolute bottom line price, cash of course and I would pick it up,depending on location and price. I am in S.Pines nc 28387. or.......have lots to trade,
