Re: 67 vs 69 war time

I am going through this exact same delemmah. I have a 69 blazer that has a 67 front clip on it. Originally wanted to go back to stock but then I saw a few blazers with 67 clips.......I guess I too have to figure out which one I like before I start working on it!
I would have posted that link and a few others for you but I can't figure out how to do it with my new phone. It's easy to find.
Keep us posted and post some picks of what your workin with.

I may just have to post some pics of my truck tomorrow with the 69 clip on and the 67 clip on. Tried going without posting pics of my truck until I start my build thread in a couple months or so, but every time I post a thread, every one wants me to post pics, so I may just have too lol.

And yeah I'd advise figuring out which clip you want before starting in on it, but hey if you do a lot of work on the clip and later change your mind, you could sell and have enough money to buy a different clip in real good condition.

Interesting, especially if you build 2 clips, still have had many of both and like the cleaner look of the 67, the no side markers are a special touch.

Yeah it'd be interesting for sure, but I'd still be stuck on, "which clip to I want to drive today." lol

never heard that one before. They are very similar though.

I may just go out and do a little of my other idea and throw everyone a curve ball here.

We are ready...curve ball us.
Still like 2 clips, like driving a different truck, could flame one front end, leave the other pristine.

That'd be a good idea if I was to go that route, but with the route I'm already going with this truck, both clips would have to be built the same exact way and painted the exact same as well. Still a cool idea regardless to have 2 clips.

Curve ball coming soon

What? Forget the struggle between a 67' and 69', and go with the best looking grille -71'/72'?

Got a 72 sitting right next to my truck that has the 67 clip on in the picture.
