Leafs vs. Coils

Just was wondering why some of the trucks came with leaf springs and some with coil springs. Mine has leafs. Thanks, short/step

one of my 72s has leafs its great for hauling but rides like a buck board wagon when its empty
my other 72 has coils they want haul like the heavy duty leafs will but sure do ride nice
