I think it was an option to have a passenger side sunviser. My 67 has the same indentations.

My '61 Corvair has no sunvisor- or cigarette lighter. It's a 700- the top line for wagons that year- but the visor and lighter and outside rear view mirror were part of a "Convenience Group" option.

My 69 did not have one. As stated above it was an option. I added a windshield mount 72 mirror in 1972. Regarding visors in cars, Corvettes didn't have them until 1959... not even as an option.
