I used one from Dakota digital which was a 7 Channel remote which is nice because I set it up to not only pop the doors but I can also roll up/down the windows. This provides another way into the vehicle if the solenoid craps out.

I did upgrade the solenoids as the one in the kit was not strong enough to trip the bear claw latches.

Good luck on the paint. Looks good thus far.

Just the guy I was looking for ! Thanks for the info ... If you don't mind can you share some pictures of the inner fenders on your truck I think I read you got them from absolute sheetmetal ?

I got mine from B*tchin products (same as Absolute sheetmetal). I need to take some engine bay pics. I dont have many engine bay pics since it has been completed. Here is the only one that shows the inner fenders.

I will take some more the next time I have the truck out.
