Someone tell me ... what the deal with this fan motor, and what seems to be a hammered in fenderwell ??

Is it obvious that someone used a different fan motor, and beat the s#it outta the fenderwell to get it in ???

This exhaust system is in great shape (newer install) and might end up in the For Sale section, in case anyone wanted to know .... Splits out the back in front of rear wheels...
