Blazer Tank Install Question

So my blazer tank I found at a swap meet doesn't fit right between the frame rails by just cutting the spare tire bar. My question is: Is this the right tank? It looks like to make it work I would have to cut the rear most crossmember and possible shave the "crooked" crossmember to make it work. Even then it still might stick out past the frame rails an inch or two.

Any one else have any experience with this or any 2 cents of wisdom?

Re: Blazer Tank Install Question

Lots of posts about this install available by searching. Posting a pic of the tank would help. The frame crossmember is often notched out to increase ground clearance.
