Re: 1968 gmc 3500 conversion?

I'm converting my K2500 to a faux K3500.

*HO52 No-Spin
*Dana 60
*TH400/205
*3500 emblems
*16.5 x 8.25 steelies w/hubcaps

If I knew more about your truck I could offer suggestions

We talking 2wd to 4x4 its gonna take a parts truck to do it right. If you can find a clean rolling k20 frame that might be better to swap your body on.

Re: 1968 gmc 3500 conversion?

I'm doing the same thing with my 71 K20, got a dana 60 dually front end and a dana 70 rear. from a 80 1 ton. it will be easier if you have a 4x4 frame to start with, but it can be done with a 2wd frame just more work. Coop
