Re: 69 LWB Fleet Build thread "The Beast"

well the truck is back on 4 wheels and tires, the fiance just moved into an apartment so any money that would be going to parts here and there for the truck is all going to bills and a fall back fund for bills if anything happens to our employment but the truck isnt going anywhere, she'll stay safe here at my parents house where she's been since i bought her 5 years ago

Save up for a truck cover or one of those car tents from harbor freight. Keep her dry and the crap out of her bed.
I am traveling to Florida and then to Michigan this summer. It would be nice to drop by and see the old gal in person.

Too bad you live on the other side of the planet....
I have BOP trans all over the place...
IF you have some back woods wrecking yards, find a 2004R and rebuild it...
They have a lower 1st and OD and will live behind a mild Poncho 350...
Great freeway trans..
Otherwise.. TH400 is the way to go..

Re: 69 LWB Fleet Build thread "The Beast"

I've decided I'm going to take advantage of my employee discount now that I work at Autozone and the use of the internet and rebuild the trans, get a new torque converter, front and rear seal, filter and pan gasket and all for cheaper than I can buy an unknown BOP

Re: 69 LWB Fleet Build thread "The Beast"

Well a few more things have happened boys, the old lady mentioned in a few of my older posts did me wrong so wrote her off, Autozone also did me wrong so I ended that, their expectations of time and distance were much faster than that of the boys in blue if you know what i mean, i gotta look thru my pile of tires and see if i have some round ones that hold air lol and will fit the truck, have at least two bad tires on it now, as far as the trans gos im almost positive that reverse is burnt out of it but im gonna fill it with fluid and see if it will pull
