Fuel Line question

So I relocated my fuel tank to the rear of the truck. My question is what to use for a longer fuel line? I bought one from a the years that had a rear fuel tank, but that was a no go. Is there a pre bent fuel line somewhere? I have rubber line currently but do not feel real safe with that and I have tried to bend the line my self numerous times and whoops my butt every time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Fuel Line question

If I am not mistaken LMC has some fuel line options? If you're having trouble bending line you buy at parts stores, you're not alone. Try getting some cupro line - its copper/nickel/iron. These lines are ultra rust resistant and bend/flare real easily - I am not positive but I believe they are sold for use as fuel line as well.

Re: Fuel Line question

I just got 3/8" steel line and the fittings from the parts store and bent all new line from front to back. I have good benders so it was easy. A cheap bender will work and make a good looking setup.

Re: Fuel Line question

If money isn't an issue you could run 20' of braided AN line.

Re: Fuel Line question

I use coil of steel line and a decent bender like anything it take time and patiance to be good at. That copper/buckle line work nice 25 ft of it is $75-100 if I remember right so better take ur time make it nice don't kink it! Lol
