Does anyone know what color white was used on the six lug four nubs?

I dont have any tech lists with those paint codes on them but GM had a white they used for everything it was code 11 GM I bet thats what they are ,

Did a quick search and look down thru this list of white the used the code 11 a lot !

IIRC it is the same GM 521 (Ditzler 2185) white as on the roof, bumpers, wheels and tailgate letters. Of course this also depends on the year too. A lot of earlier trucks used off white trim on trucks with other than white body color paint.

My '68 has everything trimmed in 526 Ivory.

You mean like this (68 data book, as revised February 1 1968)?
Of course to be correct your '68 should have silver wheels not ivory.

Both 68 front ends that have been on my 68 had silver front ends, the grill and fender ends. Both were original paint.

The silver to ivory grill was a running change in 68. Since the the specs I posted were marked as a change in the data book that may have been the general announcement date. I am not sure of the actual change over date if there is one much less at a specific plant or serial number. So early trucks were silver (see brochures) late 68 were ivory to generalize.

Wheels or grill are the Ditzler DQE-8568 Argent silver.
The silver fender inset is a different paint code but the same color, DL-8568

C30 and K10-20 had black wheels Ditzler DQE-9000

My truck came with chrome hub caps, and the wheels have never been silver. I have scraped them down to the metal under the hubcap and the factory paint on the wheels is white. I also know of another '68 that is a factory paint truck that has white wheels. This truck spent its whole life in totally stock form owned by the same family since new. Both my truck and that truck also had white grilles. I don't know the build date of that truck, but mine is March of '68, so it is a later built '68. I know all trucks in '68 that got painted caps got silver wheels, but I am convinced some of the later trucks got white wheels with chrome caps. I've seen several 50th anniversary trucks were said to be original paint trucks with white wheels and chrome caps also.

does anyone know what the backspacing of the 6 lug 15x6 4 nub wheel should be? and if it differs from front to rear?
