Re: 48
I saw it in person at the Portland roadster show and posted photos here. That is one absolutely beautiful truck and the paint is first class.
it also shows that refinement and good taste trumps following the latest fads just because the magazines pushing their advertisers parts say you should. I had heard that it went together in a very short period of time but looking at your paint work I'd think the work to get the paint right took longer than the quoted build time.

This is what I'm talkin' about! - classic parts in the engine compartment, STD trans (remember those?) beautiful finish & stance - just right...my style all the way.

Re: 48
How did you get the raised ribs on the speaker grille to be stainless? All the ones I see sold on the market are usually painted or people chrome them.

Here's another angle at the dash. A great deal of the work on the car was done by the folks at http://rocketsgarage.com/ There are a number of shops and people in the Yakima Valley of Washington who turn out some world class rods, customs and trucks that stand up with the best in the country but who at the same time are relatively unknown outside the area. The young man who has Rocket's Garage is the son an nephew of a pair of brothers who are long time friends of mine who both have been building some nice rods for over 40 years.

Re: 48
That's by far the nicest interior I've seen in an AD (for my taste). Whole build looks awesome, especially the paint!

Here are a couple more shots of the interior. If you missed the other photos of it you can click on any one of these and there are several photos of it together among the 500 in the album from the show.

Re: 48
The guys at Rocket's try to make them look timeless that's why I like working with them so much. That and they make my job a lot easier everything is gapped, fitted and mocked up I just have to do the body work and paint and they put everything together. This truck debuted at SEMA and the owners interviewed for the Car Crazy TV show
