Gas Tank Locking Cap and no Key
I have gotten everything done on the Plymouth Fury I bought, but I have no key for the gas cap. What is the best way of removing it with out screwing anything up .
Thanks |

Don't use the Dremel tool; if there is gas in the tank then it might explode in your face! Maybe some vise grips?

You could haul it down to a locksmith, they could make quick work of it. Or see if one would come to you.

The car had been sitting for 18 years and started right up when I hooked the guel pump directly to a gas can!! Bled the brakes and drove the car around the block today. It is amazing how well it drives... And the A/C blows cold!!! I see you have been doing a lot of work to the 69. You will have to take me for a ride when I get up there in the spring. |

Nice Car.
I drive my 72 Catalina more than any other vehicle I have. Lots of room and people tend to get out of the way of a big car. Wootdog

A/C may blow cold for now, but if the car has sat for a while you might need some oil in those lines. May save you some moola later!
