New Member from Utah

Hello All. I've been lurking since October last year. I just purchased a '78 Chev C20 with a built 454, Performer intake, 850 double pumper and TH400. The interior is pretty rough and the paint/bodywork leaves something to be desired but it should provide some good time for the weekends! It was owned by an 75 year old guy who drag races cars for fun so I'm pretty confident in his engine and trans build. My first order of business is to replace the front shocks, find a 40/20/40 seat and then look for a shorter rear end. It revs pretty good on the freeway.

Thanks for the kind welcome. Badaz, I'm in South Jordan. I have family in Layton and North Ogden so I do get up that way from time to time. I'm a Davis County man (Bountiful High '81).

Send me an IM and we'll talk. I'd like to compare trucks if you're up this way.

Yes, it is! Art is a great guy! He bought a new(er) Silverado Diesel to pull his car hauler. He's on his way eastward next week with one of his drag cars.
