That passenger seat is NOT the right brackets for a 69-72 blazer. The passenger brackets are set up so that the passenger seat can rock forward and get rear seat access for the back passengers. I will see if I have a pic of my brackets.

Those are correct for PICKUPS, not blazers.

You're right, I didn't think they were blazer seats. I bought them about two years ago and bought these covers new, still in the box from a friend and had them put on. I just want to know exactly what they are. Thanks, anybody else know?????..........Jerry

I think that the 70 seats had the scroll patterns and the 71 and up didn't, but that is just the seat cover- so who knows if your seat covers are original.

As far as the year of the covers, I believe them to be 71-2 covers because of the 2 scoll patterns. The 69-70's had a single scroll down the middle of the seat from what I remember.

I know they aren't original covers. So was '70 the only year for the scroll/work seats? Do the frames and brackets fit the '70 year??? ..............Jerry

69-70 had single scroll, 71/72 had 2 scrolls as your seats have. Brackets are the same 69-72. These brackets will also work in 67/68 cabs too. You will need to drill holes for the brackets if you plan to replace the stock bench, regardless of year. This is not because the brackets are wrong, they simply used a different bolt spacing pattern.

I hope this answers your question.

Nice seats!. Nothing beats stock buckets IMO.

Sorry about my stupid answer- I have blazer on the brain and thought you were asking if those were blazer seat bracket.?/ Duh! Also I was wrong about the scroll...CPNE DEFINATELY knows better than I do. Those covers are for a 71 or 72 model. Again sorry for the quick wrong answers!

From the looks of your Blazer I'd say you have nothing to apologize for. Awsome resto project!

FYI, it's not what you know but how much conviction you say it with! That's how politicians get elected!
