Leaf spring question

My brother in-law has a 70 (3/4 ton) 4x4 with factory negative arch front springs that are worn out and sagging more. Would a set of negative arch front springs from a newer (1980's) 3/4 ton 4x4 work. Same spring rate, pin offset, etc.

TIA

yep 73 and newer front springs are 3" longer. you could get a set of long add-a-leafs and get about 1.5". Don't get the short ones they are too stiff and will cause the spring pack to bend funky.
