Where to buy saddle seat cover?

I' m looking to buy a saddle seat cover for my '70 bench seat. Where is the best/cheapest place to buy one? I've looked online at a couple different sites. Just looking for the best deal and the best fit for my bench.

Any info is appreciated.

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

Truckseats has the best stuff around. I bought a Saddle/houndstooth from him. I was very impressed with the quality.

"Best" and "cheapest" usually do not go together, lol.

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

I think The Truck Shop has a $150 cover that looks decent. Comes in "Brown". I'm not sure of the quality and it looks nothing like a stock unit.

Best deal is a subjective term as well.

I bought this seat cover on eBay. I wouldn't say is the best, but it fits well and doesn't look bad. And the price is certainly right. I was just looking for something temporary, but it's been on there 1.5 years and still getting the job done.

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

Sorry for not posting a pic. My truck has had the same saddle seat cover in for the last 15 years. Its a blue one and it went right over the green saddle cover that was in for the other 16 years that my dad owned the truck. I intend put in a newer one at some point, i might even redo the original vinyl seat cover but i want to keep the saddle cover over that. It fits the personality of the truck. I like the saddle cover and i like how they look, plus its allways how i picture my truck, i have never seen it with out one of those saddle covers in it.

I have had great success with seatcoversunlimited.com. I was using them before I became a member. Bruce

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

The link below should help you.
I found mine on CL for $15 guy had never installed it. Couple complaints, a bit short on side and not blue.
But my stock seat was trashed and it was $15. Check you local none National Parts store.

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

Dang get ahold of the guy at link below. I would buy the Blue seat if he wasn't 1,800 miles away.

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

I got a set of saddle covers from Truck Shop and I have no complaints after two years. My Project thread starting at Post #211 has more info.

I know the previous post wasn't directed to me, but for the record, I prefer western.

Re: Where to buy saddle seat cover?

I thought this thread was for a saddle seat cover, meaning saddle colored GM seat upholstery. What I see shown are "saddle blanket" seat covers,as in the material used for the blankets traditionally used under a (western) saddle

Me too. I like to relax when I ride and we kicked their but so we could do things our way. I consider them American saddles
