Re: Bought my grandpa's 72 C10

Had the horn pop off on my truck 3 different times in the middle of the night before i gave up on it being right, even with a new horn kit.. My neighbors weren't too happy ether.

Guess what happened at 330am this morning? I got to do the tighty-whitey sprint outside from a nice dead sleep. I've read some threads on fixing the problem by removing the spring and using foam pads behind the fiber plate. We'll see.

Re: Bought my grandpa's 72 C10

Looks like I will be installing those wheel bearings and seals I bought over a month ago. I put it off when I did the brakes a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I've been hearing some bearing noise when coasting, but this confirms it. Grease is heating up and oozing out of the bearing cap and getting slung onto the wheel.
