Radio: Grrrrr, again no luck at the salvage yard... Help

Hi all! New here and very green to all this restoration stuff. All I want to do is find a good sounding AM/FM radio with cassette that will fit the dash cut outs in my 72 C/20

I've learned from the forum members here not to make alterations to the dash. I've been to several salvage yards that stock old trucks and every one that should have contained a Delco either didn't or had some aftermarket radio in place. Boy I'm frustrated.... grrrrr.

If anyone can redirect me I will be most appreciative.

I just got a cheap one at wal-mart I think it was about 60 bucks.
It is a shaft model that will fit you dash with no mods.
When I want to play CD's I use the walkman with the automobile cassette option.

This one is a Kenwood.
I'm told it has RCA pre-outs for an external amp also.
It sells for around $100
Do a search online for Kenwood KRC 2007 I think it is.

I got one from a company called Sound Move out of elkhart, Indiana. They advertise in Hemmings. It came with knobs that look like the originals. Not sure there web adress, but I found through Hemmings website, very nice to deal with.

I have the one Darren posted in my truck.I like it pretty well but it could use an amp.Exspecially in my Panel.I do have 4 speakers hooked up and no insulation yet so that would help.
It works pretty good but my antenna is not Ideal.I have it mounted under the dash.
