Which adjustable panhard bar

Hey guys I going to lower the back of my 72 with 4" drop springs and 2" blocks for a 6" drop. Would the regular adjustable panhard bar be alright or do I need the one that attaches to the trailing arm and not to the rearend.

I always use the Super Track Bar from ECE.
With only a 4" spring, you can use the shorter adjustable bar,...
but your will always want to go lower,...

I agree, the shorter one will work for the 4" spring, but everyone gets that itch to go lower. Also, if you go with a longer bar, if you ever go to a 6" spring to remove the block, it will be all ready to go.

The ECE is a good way to go, as well as the Porterbuilt. We have the PB trac bar in stock currently. The PB also lowers the pivot on the frame for the trac bar.

So the blocks don't have any effect on the drop. What is the benefit of a 6" spring vs the 4"spring and 2"block?

6" spring means you can go lower later,... with the additional lowering blocks.

Yes.... and it also tucks the trailing arms up higher, and gives you a little more clearance.

I know this is an older post, but maybe some can help. I 'm bagging my 70 c10, front and back and I ordered an adjustable pan hard bar from POL... the specs are 24" long (end to end) minimum
Extends an approx. 1.5"
1" thick diameter bar
Bushings 5/8"
It says for lowered truck 4'' or more. I don't plan on laying frame, so Could have I ordered the wrong length bar?. It is adjustable, but I'm a little confused as to what type of bar I would need. I believe this bar bolts on to the original location.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.................

That adjustable bar will help center the rear end from it being bagged, and will work for you. The longer panhard bars, like Porterbuilts, is what I prefer. The reason is, because they use a longer bar and lower mounting point on the frame, so you get less side-to-side axle movement through the suspension travel. Not to say the POL is bad, but I just prefer the PB for those reasons.
