Help with part identification...
Can anyone tell me:
a: What is the technical name for this part...and b: do you know anyone selling a repop of it? It is the part that bolts to the top of the hood latch panel, just in front of the radiator. I have looked for a reproduction from Classic, LMC and a few others but don't see anything listed which I find strange considering just about everything else is being reproduced...any suggestions? This one is too beat up to mess with. It's for a 1955 Chevy 1/2 ton truck, 2nd series |

It's part of the V8 radiator spacer kit. Here is one a guy had for sale on the HAMB 2 "years" ago. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=666187
That is no doubt long gone but it gives you an idea of what you are looking for.
