cpp drop shocks?/removing old ones?

1st I'm having no luck getting the top bolt to come out of the old shocks it doesn't seem to want to push out or back out is there something I'm missing? don't really want to cut bolt as I was hoping to reuse hardware........

And for the cpp drop shocks I'm not having any better luck getting them to go together the sleeves don't want to fit into the shocks. do I need to get them pressed in I can't imagine so but with my luck it would figure and the shocks came included with hardware I cant seem to find on any of the old stuff if anyone here has used theses shocks before if you could go ahead and let me know what and how that'd be great

Re: cpp drop shocks?/removing old ones?

Not unusual for the bolts to be stuck in the sleeve. I just spray them with PB Blaster and let em soak a few minutes and drive them out with a hammer. At a couple bucks a bolt not worth spending a ton of time on trying to save them. I drive the new ones in with a dead blow hammer for the top and install the lower studs in the plates and tap the shock on.
