AL 60-66 Short Stepside BEDS for sale - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

WE ARE HEADED FROM ALABAMA TO DALLAS TX WEDNESDAY THE 23rd so if you are along the path and need these beds delivered for nothing check google maps for the route between Arab AL and Dallas TX to see if it works for you and if you can meet us along this interstate path, we can deliver or you can pick up at the Dallas Motor Speedway area 24th-25th.

I have two short wheelbase stepside beds for sale - one is green and spotted colored and is only 300.00 and the other is 450.00 because its much nicer and is solid green - both are nice beds for the money but neither is perfect. Look at the pics and PM your email to see all the pics since I can only post a few here - these will not last long no matter what the shape is, because of all the rat rodders and people who do not have to have a "perfect" bed for a show truck - if you are building a show truck keep looking - these are not the beds for you.

Both trucks have a tailgate that is worth close to what I am asking for the whole bed in each case, so no low-balling. Come get them while you can. I am leaving for Texas Wednesday and advertising these on Ebay etc so they may get sold to Craigslisters if you wait too long to contact me....PM is best

spoke too soon - the guy said he was coming to get it but never did (typical of Craigslist) so the 300.00 bed is still for sale - can't believe no one is jumping at the chance to get these delivered for free between here and Texas....good opportunity for someone here

man if you would have only caught me about 3 weeks ago! I am in need of a decent bed with good bedsides and angles for the wood. but unfortunately I am out of green at the moment. Really suck part about it is, I'm only 3 hrs south of Dallas!

Hey Norm - good to hear from you - the city is Arab AL 35016 and the weight is approx 300 lbs w/ 6 ft length and 5 ft width (guesstimate) so you would be best to offer it up on www.uship.com and let the hot shot guys take a shot at picking it up and bringing it up to your area....that's what I do everytime I need a engine or truck etc moved anyway....

Well, they are not moving as fast as I expected, so your green may replenish before they ever sell at this rate. Figured they'd both be gone by now

that is one of the kindest offers I ever heard - great to know there are good ole Americans still out there to help one another out from time to time.
I just sold a 1970 CST pickup to a guy who's U-Ship.com shipper is meeting me at Pate to retrieve the truck and carry onward to Amarillo so now I am officially out of room for carrying a bed anyway....thank you for the kind offer to help your fellow man there nonetheless!

To anyone one else who does look at this..I bought my 6.5 foot step bed for $375 and it was in just a tad better shape then these are...so if yer needing a bed this guy is selling them for a darn good deal.
