Exhaust Manifold
Greetings Chevy Experts,
I've asked you guys for advice before and you've been right on the money with your counsel. So, here's another question for you. The exhaust manifold on my 1964 Chevy 230 is cracked and the heat flapper valve is pretty much gone after fifty years. The manifold can't be resurrected. I've gone on-line to find a new one and I have found one without the flapper valve. But, I'm looking for something that's OEM or at least close. I've tried junkyards, but no luck. Suggestions? |

Re: Exhaust Manifold
Yes sir,
That looks like mine. But, once I pulled mine off I noticed the cracks (several) and the flapper valve inside had been eroded by fifty years of heat until it was essentially gone. Do you have another one or are you replacing this one with something else? Dennis |
