Re: Got another new short bed...

What year and is the color red? It almost looks like it has an orange hue to it. Post up some more pics of it. Interior?

Thank you man, I appreciate it. Yeah...I like the rally wheels too but I just like the bigger ones better when done tastefully... very fine line IMO. To each his own though really, right? I've always been the car builder who just doesn't like anything stock...yet soooo many people love original stuff. I like stuff loud too...call me crazy. Thanks again.

Re: Got another new short bed...

Found these as well. Not sure what the exact color is but it's definitely orange and not red. Around here we call it Clemson Orange!

Re: Got another new short bed...

And a big block to boot. I have always liked the 81-87 short beds better (mines an 85) for some reason but I really like this one. The color, big block and stance is just right. I like it!

Mine is still in pieces after taking it down to the frame and redoing from there up. Got the frame, suspension, and steering all done along with the interior, door jambs and firewall all painted in. We set the bed and cab back on and thats where it sets now.

If that truck was mine I think I would hold onto her for awhile. Keep us posted.

Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words. I fell in love with it too when I found it online. I HAD to have it. I buy and sell trucks and hot rods for a living, so Im sure it will go to a new home at some point but it's already made it to the garage at the house...so it will probably stick around longer than most.
Sounds like yours is getting to the fun part, reassembly! Thats when it really gets exciting. Looking forward to seeing it.
Thanks again.
