Need help deciding suspension set up and Porterbuilt Dropmember

I am looking for some info on suspension for my 68 Chevy. I am currently in the planning, parts ordering, and teardown phase of my build. I see you porterbuilt offer 3 different front drop members. My goal is to go as low as possible on air, I would like to lay frame, however I would also like to keep a stock bed floor.

From what I have read that is not possible. So what is recommend to get me as low as possible front and rear while maintaining a stock rear bed floor? I would like a complete front kit including, brakes, spindles, steering rack and all. I am trying to build this on as tight of budget as possible and with everything I want to do I need to stretch my dollar as far as possible, so I ma loooking more for the necessity's.

As for the rear, what are my options to compliment the front? Can I modify the stock trailing arm setup and still get low or what do you guys suggest?

If you want to keep the bed floor unmolested then you only have one option. A Stage 2 Rear. There are a couple configurations of the Stage 2 rear that will yield the same stance, but have different components.

Up front you can keep the factory x-member and run our Stage 2 front kit. Again, a couple variations depending on how fancy you want to get.

Or if you want to go all out up front, you can run one of our Dropmember Mild front kits to replace the factory unit.

A standard 7" double convoluted air bag compresses to about 3".
You can remove your springs and add a 3" block in it's place to see how low you can go with just a standard "bags replacing springs" set-up.
The rear can go a little lower with the addition of a bolt-in c-notch and a 2" lowering block.
But that's it.
The center section of the rearend will hit the bed floor, and the front crossmember will be on the ground (with cupped stock a-arms or aftermarket a-arms) and the inner fenders removed.
But the frame will not be laying out.

Stock un-molested, non-raised bed floor or stock appearing bed floor?

I am back and forth on this. I don't know if I want to spend the money to modify the floor height. I would have to pay someone to do this for me as its outside my comfort zone in regards to my technical abilities.

I really want the in the weeds laid out on the rails look, but I just don't know that I am going to have the budget to take it that far right now.

I was thinking of doing the full front c-member and everything now while I have it all apart and then maybe a few years down the road I can redo the rear to get it all the way laid out...
