starting out with a bang

im still farely new on here, and had another thread in the 67-72 section about a truck that im gettting soon, but the more i thought about this post, i think it wouldnt really fit in with the criteria

Heres my daily driver "Clifford" (currently up in colorado with a blown engine ) 4.3L v6, 5speed, 4x4, well over 300K miles, silverado package

these 3, im getting soon and they are all FREE

68 GMC 2500 4x4, 327, a/c, all factory, 1 owner, special order truck

76? Ford F100, gorgeus interior, was a I6 but my dee da dee couzin swapped in a 400 from his 77

the next one i get my choice of the 2, a 55/56 chevy or a 58 apache... i was deciding on the apache, but after looking at them today, im kind of leaning towards the 55/6

the apache still has engine and trans, but body is pretty rough... the 55/6 is pretty decent shape, but missing engine and trans (no biggie tho it just means an open slate for a 5speed i have laying around and what ever i decide to go ahead and power it with ) and the hood for it is about 100 yards away crumpled up from the new mexico wind blowing it off the truck ...

im getting a HUGE stroke of luck picking all these up for free, and on a side note, the guy with the older chevys i have my pick of, hes sellin of 110 years worth of vehicles, farm equipment, trucks, tractors etc from his dads land, and theres another one that i have my eye on and im porbly going to talk to him about pickin up and turning it into the "Toy Hauler"

no you cant be free at all! sounds like got a hell of a deal like i did

well the story on the GMC, im helping some good family friends move, and ive hounded em about sellin it to me for years with "NO" always being the answer, well they decided a couple weeks ago, as my payment for helping, theyre giving it to me.

the ford, was my great uncles, and when my couzin passed away, the guy thats selling the stuff from the 110 acres bought my family's land, and the truck still happens to be there, after talking to him, he basicly told me if i can tow it, come get it!

and it just so happened that same guy, gave me a job turnin wrenches for him on his ranching and farm equipment, in return i get paid, and i get to choose one of the trucks from out back that he's selling... he's got around 60 vehicles out there, all ranging from 40's up to 80's... so thats where the 55 come in at
