remote doors
I have a 87 R10 with power door locks. I would like to add remotes. Anyone done this or can tell me best place to start?

just buy one of the kits and hook it up autoloc is one brand that makes them.

Pretty easy.. First you get an alarm or keyless entry system. Then the alarm will determine neg trigger or pos trigger. You. Will then use relays to change the polarity if needed. When i installed mine i just got an alarm and hooked up the negative triggers for the. Door locks. I. Used in wire splices, so no cut wires. Basic info ... I know, but very hard to explain i.... I will try to find some pics.

Any key less entry or alarm will do,The reason i showed you the avs one is the remote looks better then most and has a sliding cover and you can change out the buttons to anything you want.
