another brake question

1964 c20, after adjusting f. brakes(drum) pedal seems to have very little movement and hard, brakes seem to work, it has power booster whats easiet way to check ive heard pump pedal then start truck and it should collapse some . im planning on doing dual m.c upgrade soon just wasnt sure if i need to replace booster as well, i believe it has the horizontal linkages

Normally a hard brake pedal is a clogged line or a brake shoe is stuck. Have you bled the lines to verify good fluid coming out? Might be worth pulling the drums to inspect the shoes also.

thanks for reply,yea checked out shoes ,gonna do the dual mc upgrade just researching what parts to get to split lines
