93 taillight help

Ok tracking down some of the quirks to the lighting on my truck. Down to just my front rt blinker not flashing but the parking light part works.

The thing that's tripping me out the most is my backup lights won't go off. They are on constantly. I replaced the boards that the bulbs plug into tried bulbs etc any ideas?

Re: 93 taillight help

Sound like bulb on front blinker as for backup you might have a broken switch in your shifter

Re: 93 taillight help

Get a test light and find out if you have power to the turn signal at the light, you must have a ground if the park lamp works. I agree backup lights sounds like a switch problem

Re: 93 taillight help

On older cars hey used to have a banana shaped module near the base of the steering column. I think it combined the neutral safety switch and backup light switch. Not sure if it's like this on our trucks but I thought I'd mention it.
